Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026

This policy explains what information Mission Made Homes collects, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. We aim to collect only what we need to help you find and buy the right home.

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to missionmadehomes.com and to the sales and customer-service process operated by Mission Made Homes from our showroom in Fresno, California (together, the “Site” and our “Services”). It explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or send us your information.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you give us

When you request an estimate, schedule a showroom visit, ask about a specific plan, sign up for our newsletter, or otherwise contact us, you may provide:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Project details: your ZIP code, budget range, bedroom preference, move-in timeframe, the plan you are interested in, and anything you write in a message.
  • Financing interest: whether you would like to be connected with a lending partner. We do not collect Social Security numbers, credit information, or loan applications on this Site; that happens directly with a lender if you choose to apply.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically receive standard technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. This is used to serve, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.

We also use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google advertising measurement tools. These set cookies and collect identifiers, device information, and how you use the Site (pages viewed, forms submitted, homes viewed) so we can understand site traffic and measure our advertising. We additionally set two first-party cookies of our own: one that remembers how you found us (for example, which ad or search brought you here) so we can serve you better if you contact us, and one that remembers your privacy opt-out choice. You can opt out of advertising cookies as described in "Cookies, analytics, and tracking" below.

Information stored on your device

To make the Site more useful, we save a small amount of information in your browser’s local storage rather than in an account: the homes you save (favorites) and the assumptions you set in the mortgage calculator. This information stays on your device and is not, by itself, sent to us as a profile about you. You can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Separately, if you chat with Marlo, submit a quote or build request, or sign in to a customer account, that information is stored in our systems, not just on your device. See “Marlo and AI-assisted chat” and “Accounts and saved builds” below.

Marlo and AI-assisted chat

When you use Marlo, our website chat assistant, we collect and store the messages you exchange with it, a chat identifier, feedback you provide, and information about the pages and options you interact with during the chat. Our staff may review chats to answer questions, improve Marlo, identify problems, and follow up when you ask to be contacted. Some messages and recent chat context may be processed by Anthropic, our AI service provider, to generate or summarize responses. If a chat becomes a sales inquiry, we may connect it with your lead or customer record. Please do not submit sensitive personal or financial information through Marlo.

Accounts and saved builds

When you submit a configured build or quote request, we may create a free customer account using the email address you provide so we can preserve your build and send you a secure sign-in link. For accounts, we collect and store your email address and the profile details you provide, your saved home configurations and the price estimates shown when each was saved (historical snapshots), sign-in records for the secure email links we send you, and account activity needed to operate and secure the account.

Saved builds are kept so you and our team can pick up where you left off; they are historical snapshots, not current quotes. You can ask us to close your account or delete your information at any time, subject to the exceptions allowed by law.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and follow up about homes, pricing, availability, and your build, including by phone, text message, and email.
  • Prepare estimates and schedule and confirm showroom visits.
  • Coordinate the delivery and installation of your home, including with our affiliated installation contractor described below.
  • Connect you with a lending partner to discuss financing, but only when you ask us to.
  • Send you our newsletter or other updates you have requested. You can opt out at any time.
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site and our Services.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted by text, we may send you text messages related to your inquiry, such as estimate details, visit confirmations, and follow-ups from a local advisor. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text, and you can reply HELP for assistance. We will not sell, rent, or share your text-message consent or your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

Email communications

If you sign up for our newsletter or other email updates, we will send only what you asked for. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out requests promptly. You can also email us to be removed from our lists.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of Google analytics and advertising tools may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law — you can opt out at any time (see "Your privacy choices" below). Beyond that, we disclose personal information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Affiliated companies: installation and site work for homes we sell is performed by TCM Capital Inc. (CSLB #1122754), a company under common ownership with Mission Made Homes, under a separate installation contract. When you move forward with a purchase or request installation-related services, we share the contact, project, and site details needed to prepare, schedule, and perform that work. TCM Capital Inc. handles this information consistent with this policy and does not use it for its own marketing.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) receives online identifiers and internet-activity information, such as cookies, device data, and pages visited, to measure site usage and our ad campaigns. This does not include your name, email, phone number, or the contents of your inquiries.
  • Scheduling: when you book a showroom visit, the embedded Calendly scheduler collects the details you enter (name, email, chosen time) under Calendly’s own privacy policy, and shares the booking with us.
  • Service providers: companies that host the Site, store our data, deliver email, or otherwise help us operate, under contracts that limit them to using the information only on our behalf.
  • Lending and financing partners: when you ask to be connected, we share the contact and project details needed to follow up with you about financing.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: we use third-party cloud hosting to run this website and store our records; the information you submit is held in our own systems on that infrastructure.
  • Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, the public, or Mission Made Homes.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy or notify you of any material change.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

The Site uses: (1) storage needed to function (favorites and calculator settings in your browser’s local storage); (2) our own first-party cookies — an attribution cookie that records how you found us (search, ad, or referral details) for up to 90 days, and a consent cookie that records your opt-out choice; and (3) Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement, which set cookies to analyze site usage and measure advertising. Some pages embed Google Maps and the Calendly scheduler; when these load, your browser communicates with those providers subject to their own privacy policies.

You can opt out of the advertising cookies — the "sale or sharing" of your information for cross-context ads — at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Info" button in the privacy notice or the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out automatically. After an opt-out, analytics that helps us run the site continues without advertising cookies.

Your privacy choices and California rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link) and texts (reply STOP) at any time.

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA), regardless of whether we are legally required to comply, including:

  • The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
  • The right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Our advertising measurement may count as “sharing”; opt out any time via the “Your Privacy Choices” footer link, the privacy notice, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honor automatically.
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

How to make a request

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@missionmadehomes.com or contact us using the details below. We will take steps to verify your identity before responding, typically by confirming information already associated with your inquiry. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization.

California’s “Shine the Light” law also lets California residents request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our Services, follow up on your inquiry, and for legitimate business or legal purposes such as recordkeeping, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to the exceptions allowed by law.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, if the changes are material, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
